Society a bit harsh towards women

When it comes to women society has no mercy, the values and norms rule as they are the yardstick to measure how they are to be treated. When women have affairs a lot of insulting words are used to describe them like whore, loose and immoral. Whilst when men commit the same crime words of praise are used to justify them like a gigolo or player.  This shows how society views and understands gender roles. When women have affairs and are discovered the man are encouraged to dump the women and not pay attention to her excuses.  Situations reversed women are encouraged by society to look past it and not forget that man are children and need minding. The real question that one tends to ask is a 21-30 year old man a child or is it just an excuse to justify them being unfaithful or irresponsible by society??

According to Taylor Perry in the movie Why did I get married too , “when man have affairs it’s just sex and nothing else but when women have affairs it’s more than an affair as they get emotionally attached".

Thus one can safely say society in most cases a lot of excuses have been given to justify their action to an extent that it seems normal for man to have affairs and abnormal for women to do the same thing.

If something is wrong it should be condemned weather one is a male or female no excuses should be made to justify him or her. I believe that at a tender age children should be taught that they are equal.

For example in comedies like My wife and kids they show the importance of teaching children as equals as Michael and Jane make sure that if anyone does anything they will be punished without favour.

  1. The world needs more people like Tyler Perry, he is one gentleman who has women's interests at heart and most men can learn a thing or two from him. With the international women's day just passing it is important to treat women as human as they are as human as men are.

    1. i also beliv dat not onl man ( like Taylor Perry) must be the onl ones who campaign towards the emancipation of women but women themselves must take part. Sometyms u jus wonder why women agree to act in movies where they are being stereotyped? Thats where the problem is caz i beliv an oppressor will never solve the problems of the opressed but there is need of a rebellion. All women in society must act towards resisting male dominance.
